Keeping the Faith Animal Shelter
Keeping the Faith Animal Shelter and Rescue Center is a Christian, non-profit, 501(c)(3), volunteer, and employee-based animal welfare organization. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs, cats, horses, birds, reptiles, and pocket pets (rabbits, mice, gerbils, hamsters, ferrets, etc.) from:
- Overcrowded shelters
- Convenience euthanasia
- Re-homing due to natural disaster, military deployment, or other unforeseen circumstances
By working with the community, other shelters, local police departments and veterinary clinics, Keeping the Faith Animal Shelter and Rescue Center hopes to assist in the rescue and rehoming of animals in our area. We provide the animals that are in our care temporary homes that offer a calm and healthy environment until we can place them into their permanent homes. We will also offer long-term boarding options for those in the community suffering from the loss of a home or job, as well as those on deployment in the military who would like to come home to their pets. We will also serve as a resource to our community by providing information on pet ownership, including resources for spay/neuter, positive behavior training, nutrition, and veterinary care.
We will serve our community members with an uplifting and positive take on the adoption experience as well as treating each individual with a “no judgement” policy. We will not turn away a community member in need and well help each to the best of our ability. We believe that no animal should be mistreated and we will strive towards working with other shelters to maximize adoption rates and minimize the number of euthanized pets due to overcrowding or lack of options.

What’s Happening at KTF
We have recently secured the building to launch our rescue! We are currently putting together several fundraising events for build-out of our space to get our operations up and running while designing the floor plan for our rescue.

We are committed to serving God through service to our community by providing a caring, positive, and safe environment for animals in need, assisting community members and other shelters with the ultimate goal of finding permanent, loving homes for all animals in our care.
